I love the process and results equally! I can teach private one-on-one violin lessons for students of any level. I offer traditional or Suzuki teaching methodologies.

 

I make an individual lesson plan for each student to make sure they develop and improve to their full potential while making the lessons fun and engaging.

 

I have a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Violin Performance and Literature from the University of Rochester Eastman School of Music, one of the top schools in the world. I also trained at the Suzuki Institute in Ithaca, NY -- one of the best in the field -- for my Suzuki training.

 

I was a violinist for Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (Rochester, NY) for 12 years before I moved to Irvine, California in 2017, and later to Lake Oswego, Oregon, in 2020.

My schedule is flexible and I can travel to student's home to teach. But, students can also come to my teaching studio in Lake Oswego.

I've taught privately for over 2 decades and was on the faculty of various music schools including, but not limited to, the University at Buffalo.

 

I love the process of teaching a lesson, giving information, showing tips, methods on the instrument and watching my students grow musically and technically while enjoying their lessons. I will be happy to teach you and give my best for your violin improvement!
